MFA Archival Replicas - Fine Art Prints

With interior design and decorating in mind, MFA Archival Replicas – Fine Art Prints not only add to the polished look of the well-planned, thoughtful design of a room, they also add a sense of authenticity to the room as a whole. We recognize that every detail in a given room or space is chosen with a precise goal in mind, and the breadth of the MFA’s collection ensures you will find the perfect piece.

Using cutting-edge technology, starting with state-of-the-art digital cameras that capture all of the tonal and color information in the original artworks, our highly experienced in-house digital imaging specialists carefully reproduce the artwork’s subtleties. For example, paintings and watercolors are meticulously photographed with a proprietary lighting technique to emphasize surface relief, thereby creating the illusion of three-dimensional texture.

Our in-house master color specialists carefully print on a high-resolution, wide format inkjet printer using only archival pigment inks and the finest, archival rag papers. Each reproduction is then proofed against the original work of art. With proper handling and framing, MFA Archival Replicas – Fine Art Prints will last for 100 years* without any color fading or image degradation.

*Life expectancy estimate based on Wilhelm Imaging Research display permanence testing and assumes that prints will be framed and under glass or Plexiglas and not exposed to direct sunlight.

Note: Sizes indicated are the dimensions of the paper. The image size on the paper will vary for each image based on the proportions of the original work of art, allowing for a border.
