CLAUDE MONET: Impressions of Light
The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has organized a partnership with the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art and is pleased to present CLAUDE MONET: Impressions of Light opening February 17, 2012. This landmark exhibition showcases 20 masterpieces by the founder of French Impressionist painting. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston holds one of the largest groups of paintings by Claude Monet outside of Paris and these works represent the height of Monet’s engagement with color and light. CLAUDE MONET: Impressions of Light will also feature paintings by other masters of the genre, including Jean-Baptiste-Camille, Corot, Camille Pissarro and Eugene Louis Boudin.
